APSC RES and SEC RES, Alsons Power's two licensed retail electricity suppliers, both cleared their annual Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) compliance audits with zero findings, covering contract disclosure practices, billing accuracy, and customer switching procedures.
The audits are part of the ERC's ongoing oversight of RES licensees under RCOA, intended to protect contestable customers from opaque contract terms or billing errors as more businesses switch suppliers.
"A clean audit isn't a headline most people notice, but it's the thing that lets a customer trust that switching to us is safe. That's the whole point of the license in the first place," said the company's regulatory affairs officer.
