By reusing existing land, grid connections, and infrastructure, we bring clean power online faster and at lower cost, without disrupting the supply our customers rely on. We back this up by adding battery storage and by winning government Green Energy Auctions that secure long-term buyers for our renewable power.
Building Mindanao's cleaner energy future.

Alsons Power is becoming a leading renewable energy name in Mindanao. We took our first step with Siguil Hydro, our first renewable plant, and we have not slowed down since.

We are not stopping at hydro. The Bawing Solar Project is building a large solar farm in General Santos City. Southern Philippines Power Corporation (SPPC), a diesel fired plant in Alabel, Sarangani, is being converted into a solar facility.
We're also exploring more solar projects to further strengthen our renewable energy portfolio.
Our direction is clear. In the next few years, renewable energy is set to make up at least half of our portfolio, as we keep providing the safe, reliable, and affordable power Mindanao depends on.

We're converting our
55 MW SPPC diesel plant into a 98.7 MW solar facility.
Turning yesterday's power plants into tomorrow's clean source of energy.
The energy transition is the global shift away from fossil fuels like coal and diesel toward cleaner sources like solar and water.
An Energy Transition Mechanism is simply a practical way to make that shift happen faster and more affordably, often by repurposing or retiring older fossil-fuel plants and replacing them with renewable ones.

Old diesel plants shut down operations.

Unusable equipment is cleared from the site.

Functioning equipment is repurposed and fixed.

Specialized equipment is bought new and setup.

New renewable facility begins generation operations.

Harvesting pure energy from the sun.
