Alsons Power continues to advance its pipeline of hydro and solar projects across Mindanao and the Visayas, positioning the company to meet rising electricity demand as the region's industrial and commercial sectors expand.
The Siayan Hydro Project in Sarangani and the Bago Hydro Project in Negros Occidental remain on track for commissioning before the end of the decade, adding a combined capacity of up to 80 MW of renewable generation to the company's portfolio.
"Every megawatt we bring online through these projects is a megawatt of dependable, homegrown power for the communities we serve. That's the throughline across everything we're building right now," said a company spokesperson.
Alongside the hydro pipeline, Alsons Power is progressing utility-scale solar developments in Alabel and General Santos, part of a broader strategy to diversify its generation mix beyond thermal baseload.
