Jerico Reyes

Jerico Reyes has spent over a decade in the power sector, but it's his last five years at Alsons Power leading business development for the company's renewable energy pipeline that he calls the most consequential stretch of his career.

Under his direction, the business development team has moved several hydro and solar projects in Sarangani from early feasibility work into active development — projects Jerico sees as central to where the company is headed next.

"Thermal built this company and it's still the backbone of what we do. But the next decade of growth is renewables, and figuring out how those two sides work together, not against each other, is what keeps the job interesting," he says.

Jerico also represents Alsons Power in discussions with local government units and communities near prospective project sites, a part of the role he considers just as important as the financial modeling.
